Tarih boyunca yaşanan en kanlı ve şiddetli savaşlardan biri olarak gösterilen Malta Kuşatması, Osmanlı’nın kuşatmayı kaldırmak zorunda kalmasıyla sonuçlanmış ve ‘Yenilmez Türkler’ algısı ortadan kalkmıştır. Malta Island
Malta adasında yaşayan çocukluk arkadaşımın daveti üzerine gittim ve iyi ki de gitmişim. Son 6 yıldır her yıl ya da aklıma geldiğinde canım sıkıldığında ilk gideceğim ülkelerden birisi de Malta. Hem kalitesi hem gece hayatı hem öğrenci şehri hem de her şeyin kaliteli olmasına rağmen çok ucuz olması nedeniyle tercih ediyorum.
Halkı çok çalışkan ve bu çalışkanlıkları kendilerine de geçmiş durumda. Çok misafirperver olmasalar da şimdiye kadar hiç sorun yaşamadım. Yaşasam da arkamın sağlam olduğunu biliyorum 😉
Tam bir şövalye şehri. Birçok film burada çekilmiş ve Hollywood filmleri çekilmeye de devam ediyor. Malta Island
Üstü açık otobüs hizmetleri ile size tam bir ada turu yaptırıyorlar ama bir gün bu dolaşmaya yetmiyor, haberiniz olsun. Arıları ile ünlü ama bir tane arı bile göremiyorsunuz. Bal ve cam işlemesi ile ünlü bir ülke. Şövalye heykellerini fazlasıyla bulabilirsiniz. Adada at arabası ile kısa bir tur atabilirsiniz.
Bir kafede oturup tatlı ‘Frenk İnciri’ şurubunu çok soğuk olması şartı ile tadabilirsiniz.
Alkol gerçekten sudan ucuz. Her şişeyi açıp içmeyebilirsiniz 😉 2 kişi ortalama cebinizde 600-800 Euro ile 5 gün çok güzel zamanlar geçirebilirsiniz. Son olarak tarihi ile de bilgi paylaşarak yeni Malta yolculuğunda görüşmek üzere sevgilerimle.
Büyük kuşatmayı bilirsiniz. Tüm Avrupa’da çok yankı yapmış ve Türklerin başarısızlığı psikolojik ‘Yenilmez Türkler’ algısını ortadan kaldırmıştır. ‘Büyük Kuşatma’, dünya tarihinin en büyük kuşatması olarak anılıyor. 19 Mayıs-8 Eylül 1565 tarihleri arasında tam 4.5 ay sürmüştür…
Türk mezarlıkları da var ve konsolosluk nezrinde gidip görmeniz mümkün. Dualarınız ile yaşatmak isteyenler mutlaka olacaktır. Halen orada bir tarih yatması bizi onu hatırlatıyor!
THE ISLAND OF MALTA
The Siege of Malta, which is considered one of the bloodiest and most violent wars in history, resulted in the Ottoman Empire having to lift the siege and the perception of the ‘Invincible Turks’ disappearing.
I went to Malta at the invitation of my childhood friend who lived on the island, and I’m glad I did. For the past 3 years, whenever I feel bored or want to go on a trip, Malta is one of the first countries that comes to mind. Malta Island
I prefer it because of its quality, nightlife, student city, and the fact that everything is of high quality yet very cheap. The people are hardworking and this work ethic has rubbed off on them. Although not very hospitable, I have never had any problems so far. Even if I did, I know I have a strong back 😉
It is a true knightly city. Many films have been shot here and Hollywood films continue to be made. They offer an open-top bus service that takes you on a full island tour, but one day is not enough for this tour, just so you know. Malta Island
Although famous for its bees, you cannot see even a single bee. It is a country famous for honey and glass processing. You can find plenty of knight statues on the island. You can take a short tour on a horse-drawn carriage around the island. Malta Island
You can sit in a café and try the sweet ‘fig syrup’, which must be very cold.
Alcohol is really cheap. You don’t have to open every bottle and drink it 😉 With an average of 600-800 euros in your pocket, two people can have a wonderful 5-day trip. Lastly, I share some historical information and say goodbye with love, hoping to see you on my new journey to Malta. Malta Island

There are also Turkish cemeteries, and it is possible to go and see them under the consulate. There will surely be some who want to keep them alive with their prayers. The fact that there is still history there reminds us of it! Malta Island
